Fifteen years professional experience as an Environmental Policy Specialist. Current positions include: Director of the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the University of Guyana (Current), Member of Regional Team of Experts for JICA/CDERA Project on Community Disaster Risk Management in five pilot countries in the Caribbean; Member of Scientific Advisory Committee for Forestry Network Project (FORENET) for ACP countries; and an Environmental Consultant in: community based disaster risk management, environmental impact assessment, environmental education and training, environmental management and disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation policy formulation at the international, regional and national levels.
