Mr. Shawahiq, Advocate is a law graduate from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Formerly with CSER (Mumbai), Shawahiq has been working on natural resource management and law. He is an eloquent speaker and has received Best Presenter Award at the International Conference on Emerging Issues on Research and Development at Kathmandu Nepal. Shawahiq has received several awards including a National Prize from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs Government of India, Siksha Mandal Wardha, Indian Association of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (IAPPD), National Law School, University of Jammu, National Law University, Jodhpur and Surana & Surana International Attorneys. His areas of interest and concern are international environmental law, human rights and Intellectual property rights. Shawahiq writes well and has contributed several articles on human rights issues.
