Background
Lt.Col. Amitabh has served Indian Army (Armoured Corps) for 16 years. He has a Certificate from Instrument Research and Development Establishment, Dehradun in Thermal Imaging Technology. He volunteered and commanded fighting troops during Kargil war, elite Missile Detachments in Operation Meghdoot during 1999-2000. He is a Graduate from Siachen Battle School. He also got training with the Strike Teams of the Ladakh Scouts in Mountain Warfare Techniques. He is a keen Sportsman and has interest in Mountaineering and White Water Rafting.
Presently
In his present capacity as a Honorary Fellow he will work on the projects with Foundation's Institute of Security Studies including the Non-Traditional Security Project.
