Background
Janki Pandya has completed her Masters in politics from Mumbai University. She is concerned about the challenges of Urban Cities in the age of globalisation, development dilemmas and how to make development more inclusive and sustainable. She has written essays on Role of Media in taking up urban civic activism and the corresponding effect on policy making, Slum Rehabilitation as a model of Alternative Development and Stateless People in as part of her Masters course. The challenges and experiences of living in the city of Mumbai are a source of her motivation. She is committed to service and making a difference to the society. She is also an active citizen journalist.
Presently
At ORF Mumbai she is working on Issues of Urban Governance in the MMR Region.
