Background
Currently pursuing his Ph.D at the US Studies Division, Centre for Canadian, US and Latin American Studies, School of International Studies (SIS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He completed his M.Phil from the same centre and his M.A. in International Relations from SIS, JNU. Before joining ORF, he has given a series of lectures on various issues of American History/Politics at the Ansal Institute of Technology (now Ansal University, Gurgaon). He has written extensively on American Foreign Policy and other issue of International Politics and his articles and book reviews have appeared in different journals and magazines such as India Quarterly, Indian Foreign Affairs Journal, World Focus, Diplomatist and South Asia Politics. He has also contributed a number of Op-ed articles on foreign policy issues in regional English newspapers across the country. He has conducted field research in the United States of America including at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library at Austin, Texas. Besides his primary interest in US foreign policy and domestic politics, his research interests also include US strategic affairs, diplomatic history (particularly Indo-US relations), Indian foreign policy issues and also the influence of American politics on popular culture and vice-versa.
