Background
Rachel D’Silva has completed her Masters in politics from Mumbai University. She is concerned about the challenges of development, governance and humanitarian issues and has written essays on Train Hawking – A survival occupation on Mumbai’s suburban trains, Social Capital as a catalyst for development in a minority community and Partnership’s in governance between BMC schools and NGO’s in Mumbai as part of her Masters course. Her motivation stems from her experience in working in education and outreach at grassroots in and around Mumbai city. She also designs layouts for print and web.

Presently
At ORF Mumbai she is working on Food Security and Hunger Issues.
