Background
Rohit is an alum of Harvard Business School and St Stephen?s College. He is a British Chevening scholar and has undertaken professional programmes at University of Westminster, The Times Centre for Media Studies, and The European Journalism Centre, Maastricht. Rohit has been on the board of the News Broadcasters Association and has been Resident Editor of The Financial Express, New Delhi; Managing Editor (and later COO) of Independent News Service; Editor-Business, Zee News; Special Correspondent, Television 18; and Senior Business Correspondent, The Times of India.
Presently
Rohit in collaboration with noted law firm Hammurabi & Solomon advises CEOs across the spectrum of strategy, regulation, advocacy and the media. He serves as Treasurer of The Editors Guild of India and is on the board of a major hospital company and the entertainment arm of a leading media conglomerate. Rohit is a member of the World Editors Forum, Paris and ISG is media partner of the OECD Annual Forum. He writes a column in Governance Now reflecting issues before government, financial institutions, private equity, industry leaders, political executive, alumni networks, and global think tanks and also some newspapers. He is Regional Coordinator (India & Pakistan) for the Advanced Management Program 177 of Harvard Business School. He regularly comments on radio.
