Background
Sripathi has completed his M.Phil from the Department of Defence and Strategic Studies, University of Madras in September 2010. His dissertation was on 'Global Nuclear (Weapons) Zero'. Before his M Phil he had perused his Masters in the same department while his under graduation was on Political Science from Madras Christian College, Chennai.
Prior to joining ORF he was an intern in the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), New Delhi. And has a number of articles and analysis that have been published in IPCS website and elsewhere. His areas of interests are security and foreign policy issues of India, domestic politics in India and security dynamics and regional cooperation in South Asia and in the India Ocean.

Sripathi is presently focus areas are Indian Ocean and Myanmar
