Lanco Infratech subsidiary Lanco Solar bags Rs. 8.8 bn Mahagenco solar power project

May 26, 2011. Lanco Infratech subsidiary Lanco Solar said it will set up a 75-MW solar power project at Maharashtra along with Juwi Renewable India Ltd at a cost of Rs. 884.18 crore. Lanco Solar, in a consortium with Juwi Renewable India Ltd, has received a contract from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd (Mahagenco) for building a 75-MW photovoltaic solar power project at Dhule in the state. The project value is Rs 884.18 crore. The project would be fully commissioned by mid-February, 2012. Lanco Solar is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Lanco Infratech Ltd with a focus on providing sustainable, innovative and cost-effective solutions across the entire solar power value chain.
