Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Praful Patel said the National Electric Mobility Mission Plan 2020, which is aimed at promoting electric and hybrid vehicles, is likely to be launched by July, 2012. The National Mission for Electric Mobility was launched to promote electric mobility and manufacturing of electric vehicles in India.
