India is likely to ask Ghana to provide assured gas supply at competitive rates to the proposed USD 1 billion urea project of Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers Ltd (RCF) in the western African nation. Country's largest urea maker RCF plans to set up a urea plant with a capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum in Ghana. The plant is expected to be commissioned by 2016-17.
